Opportunities to increase appreciation of and respect for the deep connections among people, animals and the environment through:
- Hands-on learning experiences in Nature's classroom.
- Interaction with horses, including ground work and basic horsemanship skills.
- Nature walks exploring the history and culture of the indigenous people of the Santa Monica Mountains
- Multi-sensory and environmental arts and crafts activities, music and drama workshops that integrate with Outdoor Classroom themes.
- We work closely with teachers, parents and all educators to customize and enrich curriculum

Cowboys and Cowboys! K-2
Focus on sharing, caring and "treating others the way you want to be treated" as we roam the range at El Dustberry ! Explore the life and culture of cowboys and cowgirls,including a unique art project,interaction with a horse,and a close look at the relationship of trust and respect between human and horse.
Life Skills Through Horses - Grades 6-12
Interactions with our horses help young people empower themselves by addressing self-esteem, respect for self and for others, sharing, tolerance, appreciation, teamwork, leadership skills and learning how to make smart choices.
Scout Merit Badge and Horsemanship Program
