Scout Programs:

What makes us unique:

• We are a recognized California non–profit organization providing innovative programs to children and adults throughout the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
• The monies generated by our Merit Badge Programs provide the support for our free programs and services that assist cancer patients and their families.
• We teach “Natural Horsemanship”, a humane approach to interaction with horses based on trust and respect.
• Most of our horses have histories of neglect, abuse or abandonment and have been rehabilitated under our care.

What we offer your troop:
Our SCOUT MERIT BADGE PROGRAM offers participants the opportunity to increase appreciation and respect for the deep connections among people and horses. Our hands-on learning experiences surpass the necessary skills and knowledge mandated to earn the Horsemanship Merit Badge.

• Bonding Activities in which partnering, connection and trust is achieved between horse and human
• Natural Horse care & Tack
• Natural Horsemanship – Riding bareback and bit-less, as an “extension” of the horse
• Horse Psychology - Herd Mentality and more!
• All programs are custom designed to meet the specific needs of each participant and group.
• Camp out at Josepho and do our program, or come up for the day!
• Program cost: $35 per participant. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Saturdays and Sundays, 9-11 or 10-12, 1-3, 3-5
• Summer, weekend and specialty horsemanship programs and camps offered
